Application that resides on a user’s desktop and the user can take advantage of the various functionalities that include calibration, high resolution video recording, Instant Messenger integration, video and picture capture.
Examples are Fix8 Classic & Deluxe, and iShow.
Teli is another Mobinex desktop webcam based application enabling user to interact with computer applications (primarily games) via head movement and hands gesture in “Wii?like fashion. This is a fantastic new way to engage user with contents and application. |

Web application allows users to create 2D or 3D avatars out of webcam view or photo images and perform further features on the web pages. The following are the sample applications.
- FunnyFace Online : Flash-based photo/video decoration tool
- KBox: a web based KTV application that provides more fun to sing and share with others
- MyStyle: a 3D Avatar based website where user can create, participate and exhibit his/her own fashion creation

- Magic Screen enhances user to edit captured photo with digital contents. Leveraging our Facial-feature Detection technology to quickly adapt contents onto subject face or photo then share the creativity with friends via numerous channels like MMS or posting on web.
- Happy Message is a mobile based application accessible over web or mobile device. User can generate fun short “twitter" like video message easily by simple point and click mouse to combine voice, text, animation then broadcast to friends.
